The leaks just keep on coming for OnePlus upcoming phone – the OnePlus 6. A bunch of new promotional renders of the phone were posted on Chinese social media site, Weibo.
The renders show the phone in its entirety. The device has a new design that is different from its predecessor – naturally – and it is now more rectangular thanks to its alleged 19:9 screen. On the front, we can see the notch at the top of the screen that houses the selfie camera and earpiece.
On the back, we can see the vertically stacked dual-camera system, and right below it, there is an LED flash and a rectangular-shaped fingerprint sensor. The renders also show the phone in white, black and blue colours; this will mark the first time OnePlus is making its phone in a blue hue. The renders show the phone equipped with a glass back, which is different from previously leaked images of the phone.
The OnePlus 6 is said to come with the speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset alongside 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On top of that, you can expect the OnePlus 6 to be priced higher than its predecessor – this seems to an ongoing trend with OnePlus smartphones.
As with all leaked information, take these renders with a pinch of salt – the OnePlus 6 may not look like this at all. Nonetheless, OnePlus is expected to announce its new smartphone as early as next month.
