Yesterday, TM has unveiled a new UniFi Mobile plan called Jasa Pack which is meant exclusively for teachers that are serving under Ministry of Education. The company has since uploaded more information regarding the pack which apparently includes more than just unlimited postpaid telco plan.
As it turns out, teachers need to be existing UniFi or Broadband (previously known as Streamyx) customers in order to be eligble for the new Jasa Pack. Interestingly, TM is offering a deal for teachers that have yet to sign up for their UniFi or Broadband packages.
Under the Jasa Pack promo, they can sign up for the UniFi Lite 10Mbps package for RM 99 per month. Alternatively, they can choose the UniFi Advance 30Mbps or Pro 100Mbps packages at discounted monthly price of RM 169 and RM 299 respectively.
However, the prices above are only valid for 2 years which is also the standard contract duration for a UniFi package. After that, the price will be reverted to RM 129, RM 199, and RM 299 per month respectively.
Do note that the charges above are not inclusive of the UniFi Mobile Jasa Pack unlimited plan which costs RM 59 per month. Furthermore, the UniFi Mobile plan also comes with 2 years contract unlike the general UniFi Mobile prepaid plan which doesn’t come with any contract at all.
Meanwhile, teachers will also receive free smartphone from TM if they subscribed the new Jasa Pack unlimited plan. The exact phone model was not revealed but it is apparently supplied by ZTE according to the plan’s Terms and Conditions document. As expected, the free smartphone offer is only available while stocks last.
