A screenshot may have revealed additional specifications for the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 7. The image, which appeared on the MIUI forums, shows the hardware configuration for the yet unannounced device; particularly the memory and storage space.
Xiaomi’s next flagship looks to feature 8GB RAM and 128GB on-board storage, which is relatively unsurprising. The screenshot also reveals that the Mi 7 ships with a 5.6-inch 2160 x 1080 display, a 16+16MP dual rear camera configuration, and a substantial 4,480mAh battery.
It also lists the Snapdragon 845 mobile chip, although that piece of information has been known for some time now.
There are reports saying that Xiaomi may bring the Mi 7 to Mobile World Congress 2018 this year. However, competition in the shape of the Samsung Galaxy S9 may push Xiaomi to delay the announcement. Should this happen, the company is instead expected to reveal the Mi Mix 2S. It’s impossible to tell what may be happening in Barcelona, but it should be a particularly interesting MWC.
