Instagram users may soon be able to share Instagram posts and upload it to their Stories. For the past couple of months, Instagram has been quickly adding new features to its app, and it is now testing another new feature to expand Stories.
You can move, rotate and resize the post before it gets uploaded. Users can then overlay stickers to the post before sharing it to their Stories. It should be noted that the Instagram account must be made public in order for this feature to work.
Just last November, Instagram was testing a “Regram” button to share other user’s post instead of having to installing an app to do it. However, that feature still hasn’t seen the light of day. So keep that in mind when it’s said that this is still in the testing stage.
A recap of the new features that were recently added to the app are the ability to follow hashtags, Stories Highlights and Archives, and send a live video in Direct. So far this year, the Facebook-owned company has also introduced Stories focused features such as GIF sticker and Type Mode.
