Samsung is offering additional Samsung Rewards points for those who use Bixby. Simply talking to the AI assistant earns the user experience points to gain levels; in turn, this provides bonus points for claiming rewards through the Samsung Pay app.
Talking to Bixby earns an unspecified amount of XP, although a longer conversation presumably provides more points. Providing feedback, on the other hand, drops a set amount of XP. Telling Bixby it did a great job earns 1 XP, tapping on Teach Me earns 10 or 20 XP, and suggesting phrases from your history earns 5 XP.
There are 16 Bixby levels to be earned throughout the promotion. Earning a level provides a number of Samsung Rewards points proportionate to that level. Meaning that higher levels drop more points.
Samsung Rewards points can then be exchanged for discount vouchers and promo codes through the Samsung Rewards app. These range from cheaper Grab rides, to coffee from the Coffee Bean, to discounts from Tesco and Lazada.
The Bixby Level Up promotion runs until 15 April 2018, and is available to everyone who owns a Bixby enabled smartphone (at the moment this are the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 families). Participants are also required to have a working Samsung Pay account; since the rewards are claimed through the Samsung Pay app.
