LG has announced a new compact 4K projector ahead of CES 2018. The HU80K series projector is set apart from others thanks to its small size; complete with built-in carrying handle to carry it around from room-to-room.
The HU80K is a short-throw projector, allowing it to be set closer to the wall without distorting the final image too much. As far as display size goes, it can produce up to a 150-inch image at 2,500 lumens; making this LG’s brightest projector ever.
Apart from delivering 4K video, it also supports HDR10 for high dynamic movie playback. It comes with two 7W speakers built in, and LG has its WebOS 3.5 installed as the interface to control the projector. Plus it has USB, Ethernet and HDMI support for connectivity as well as wireless support for external devices like keyboard and mouse.
No news on availability or pricing yet for the projector, but we hope to see it in Malaysia soon.
