Samsung has inadvertently revealed the existence of the 2018 A-series lineup. The support page – for what should be – the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) has appeared on Samsung Korea’s official website; indicating it won’t be long before the device in released.
The page itself does not share much information on the upcoming phone, and it did not specify the actual name – just the model number SM-530N. However, it follows a logical progression from the first Galaxy A5 (SM-500) to this year’s model (SM-520).
Rumours are circulating that the Galaxy A5 that it will be receiving the Infinity Display treatment borrowed from the Samsung Galaxy S8. Other rumoured specifications includes an Exynos 7885 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 3.5mm audio jack, a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 2160 pixels, and water resistance.
Do take the purported specifications with a grain of salt. However, with the official support page up, it seems that more ‘leaks’ and the official announcement will undoubtedly follow suit.
