Apple recently updated its Clips app, making it even easier for you to create and share fun videos using the iPhone or iPad. Clips 2.0 brings new Selfie Scenes feature that allows for 360-degree selfies on iPhone X, as well as a redesigned user interface, new artistic effects, and Star Wars content.

First up, if you are planning on getting the iPhone X, which will be available for preorder this Friday, 17 November 2017, you must definitely check out Clips 2.0’s new Selfie Scenes. The feature makes use of iPhone X’s TrueDepth camera, allowing users to change their background easily. Transport yourself to a bustling city, serene landscape, or even to the Millennium Falcon and Mega-Destroyer from “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” with just a couple of taps.

“With Selfie Scenes, users can choose from 10 Apple-designed scenes, featuring unique locations, characters, colors and visual styles plus two scenes from “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Each scene is a full 360-degree experience, so it surrounds users on all sides as they move iPhone X. And environmental sound effects make scenes even more immersive.”

Clips 2.0 also feature a redesigned interface, making it easier for you to create your own unique videos. There is a new Effects browser that lets you quickly pick the filter, labels, stickers and emoji of your choice. Labelled buttons make it easier for you to edit Live Titles, add or change filters, trim, mute and delete clips.

Other changes featured in Clips 2.0 include iCloud support so you can easily edit your clips on different iOS devices, new Star War content for Selfie Scenes and stickers, and new artistic effects such as moody oil painting, vibrant watercolour, elegant pencil sketch, and more.
