Moto Z Now Available for RM1,000 Less in Malaysia

The Moto Z was one of the most unique smartphones released last year with its modular capabilities, and now, it can be purchased for RM1,000 less in Malaysia. That’s right: Motorola’s 2016 flagship smartphone can be bought for only RM1,699 now – that’s a very good deal.

This RM1,000 discount on the Moto Z is currently offered by DirectD, and of course, there is a catch: you will have to trade-in a phone to enjoy the promotion. Interestingly enough, DirectD mention that it will accept “any working or non-working condition phone,” though we reckon the retailer may have some form of guideline still.

On top of the RM1,000 discount, DirectD is also offering one year of Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) and another year of extended warranty for the Moto Z, which are worth RM448. To sweeten the deal, customers can also purchase an Incipio Power Pack Moto Mod for RM99 instead of RM399.

Aside from the Moto Z, DirectD is also running a promotion for the Moto G5 Plus. Those who purchase the first unit at its original retail price (RM1,299) can get a second unit of the G5 Plus for RM649.50 – that’s 50% off. Of course, like the Moto Z, each unit of the G5 Plus purchased during this promotion will also receive one year of ADP and an extra year of warranty.

If you’d like to get your hands on either one of these two devices, you can do so here for the Moto Z and here for the Moto G5 Plus. While DirectD didn’t mention exactly when these deals will end, it’s best to act fast.
