Product Red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Discontinued

If you’re looking to get the Product Red iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, you may want to act fast: Apple is no longer selling these two iPhones on its online store. Turns out, the Cupertino company quietly discontinued the Product Red iPhones just last week.

Although the special edition iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are no longer available on Apple’s online store, it’s worth noting that some retailers in Malaysia still have the two devices in stock. Lazada, for one, still has several listings of the Product Red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Even retailers like DirectD has them in stock still.

In fact, if you’re hunting for a good deal, Lazada has some pretty solid ones for the Product Red iPhone 7. Here’s a listing offering the 256GB model (which have been discontinued after the iPhone 8’s introduction) for RM3,699 – the same lowest price we found for the other 128GB models with Malaysia warranty. On the other hand, there’s a seller offering the 128GB Product Red iPhone 7 for just RM3,299 – a good RM400 lower than the next option. As for the iPhone 7 Plus, the options are pretty scarce – just this one for RM4,299 for the 128GB option (and even then there are limited units left).

Beyond the signature Product Red colour, these iPhones are not all that different from the standard models. Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus come with Apple’s A10 Fusion chips, 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch Retina Displays respectively, IP67-rated body, and 12MP cameras with optical image stabilisation. Of course, the Plus model comes with a secondary telephoto camera, which allows for 2x optical zoom and Portrait Mode.

Those who are still interested to pick up the Product Red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus should act fast before they’re not available for good. Now that Apple no longer carries the special edition iPhones on its online store, it’s only a matter of time before they’re off the shelves.
