While it is widely known that LG will be launching at least one new smartphone on 31 August, that doesn’t stop the company from teasing consumers with details regarding its new device. As the story goes, LG has just revealed that its new smartphone will be equipped with 6-inch display.

Said to be LG’s largest smartphone display since four years ago, it is also a FullVision display which has minimized bezels. In fact, LG stated that the upper and lower bezels of its new smartphone have been reduced by 20 and 50 percent respectively as compared to V20.

Just like previous released FullVision smartphones such as G6 and Q6, the P-OLED display on the upcoming smartphone also has unconventional 18:9 aspect ratio since it has a native resolution of 2800 x 1400. To make it stronger, the display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Last but not least, LG claimed that the new smartphone will be smaller than V20 despite featuring a larger 6-inch display. Well then, stay tuned for more details on LG’s upcoming smartphone as we get close to its official launch at the end of this month.
