Acer has just launched a slew of new products in Malaysia, and these include productivity-focused Windows machines too. Among the products introduced today are the Switch 5, Swift 3, and the budget-friendly One 10.
Let’s start with the most interesting product of the bunch: the Switch 5. Much like the Switch Alpha 12, the Switch 5 features a detachable keyboard. It also comes with a 12-inch 3:2 2160 x 1440 IPS touch display, an Intel Core i5-7200U or i7-7500U processor paired with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and a LiquidLoop cooling system.
Retailing at RM3,399 and RM3,899 for the i5 and i7 models respectively, the Switch 5 also comes with a stylus and keyboard cover; consumers won’t have to buy them separately.
And then we have the Swift 3. Sporting a new design and a 15.6-inch option, the Swift 3 is equipped with a 14-inch or 15.6-inch Full HD IPS glass display, the latest Core i processors, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage, as well as a fingerprint sensor. According to Acer, the Swift 3 is priced between RM3,399 and RM3,899.
Last but definitely not least is the affordable One 10. Featuring a detachable keyboard, it can be used in four different modes: Laptop, Pad, Tent, and Display. The One 10 is also equipped with a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, an Intel Atom x5 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of eMMC storage. As for retail price, the One 10 goes for only RM1,099.
All of these Acer products are now available in Malaysia with the exception of the Swift 3; it will only be available here from the middle of August 2017.
