With the surge of interest in cryptocurrency recently, so does the attention on graphics cards which have now become hot commodities not only among gamers but also coin-miners. Hence, it is not surprising that certain manufacturers have come out with mining-focused graphics card such as this particular P106-100 card from MSI.

Unlike its competitors who publicly announced their mining cards to the world, the release of MSI P106-100 which is based on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 happens rather quietly. To our understanding, the card is meant only for China but that doesn’t stop MSI P106-100 from making its way to Malaysia.

MSI P106-100
The MSI P106-100 doesn’t have any output ports because you don’t need them for cryptocurrency mining.

Nevertheless, you still have to do some searching if you want to get your hands on it though. For now, we have learned that two retailers – Asashi Gaming in Wangsa Maju and GTech Solutions in Penang – have begun to offer MSI P106-100 to their customers.

Both retailers are pricing the card at RM 1,299 although neither of them have provided warranty information about these cards. Hence, we do advice you to purchase MSI P106-100 at your own risk due to the card’s illusive status.
