Some might not have noticed this but many TV and display manufacturers out there actually put a lot of thoughts into their TV and display stands. For example, Samsung has actually crafted two special TV stands for its QLED TVs which have just made their way into Malaysia recently.
One of them is called the Studio Stand (shown above) which is clearly a homage to display stand that you might see during art class or in art gallery and museums. In fact, that’s exactly Samsung’s intention – for users to showcase their QLED TVs like an art masterpiece in their homes or premises.
Meanwhile, there is also the Gravity Stand (shown below) due to the fact that it is designed to make Samsung QLED TVs look as if they were floating when in use. Aside from that, the stand also allows the TVs to be turned up to 35-degrees to the left or right.
Both of these stands have a built-in cable routing that is made for the optical cable (or the Invisible Connection, as Samsung like to call it) that connects the QLED TVs to their One Connect Box. In terms of compatibility, they are able to support the 55-inch and 65-inch models within Samsung’s Q9, Q8, and Q7 QLED TV series.
In terms of price, these TV stands are now available at all Samsung brand stores throughout Malaysia for RM 2,999 each. Their price tag is indeed quite hefty but then again, we don’t think the pricing matters much if you are able to afford Samsung QLED TVs which have 5-digit price tags on them.
