It was only last month that we witnessed the release of OPPO A57 into Malaysia yet another A-series smartphone already making its way to our market. As per A57, the upcoming OPPO A77 is targeted at selfie lovers as well.
In fact, the A77 has the same camera setup too with a 16-megapixels front camera and f/2.0 lens. The smartphone is also equipped with 13-megapixels rear camera which is also accompanied by a f/2.2 lens.
Since both A77 and A57 looked similar to each other, the easiest way to differentiate them is by looking at their display size. Specifically, the A77 is equipped with a larger display at 5.5-inch although still retain the same full HD resolution as per A57.
Additionally, the A77 also has more RAM as well as bigger storage space and battery capacity than A57 at 4GB, 64GB, and 3,200mAh respectively. The new smartphone is also equipped with a different processor in the form of MediaTek MT6750T as opposed to Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 that was present on A57.
According to OPPO Malaysia, the new A77 will be released into stores nationwide starting from 27 May with a price tag of RM 1,398. Alternatively, consumers can get their hands on the smartphone directly from OPPO through its online store.
