On top of announcing new gaming laptop, desktop, smartwatch, and more, Acer also unveiled a new ultra-slim all-in-one Aspire desktop. Called the Acer Aspire U27, it is the company’s first AiO desktop that feature’s Acer’s LiquidLoop fanless cooling system for a quiet operation.
The Acer Aspire U27 has a 27” Full HD wide viewing angle display. It features an elegant design that fits nicely in your modern homes – there’s an ultrathin 12mm chassis, and a stylish diamond-cut v-shaped metal stand. Combined with a “specially designed” subwoofer that brings powerful deep bass, this AiO “provides entertainment with a punch”.
On the inside, the Aspire U27 is powered by Intel’s 7th generation Core processors with an optional Intel Optane Memory. It also features Acer’s proprietary LiquidLoop fanless cooling system, which allows for a quiet operation. LiquidLoop cooling system uses liquid evaporation and condensation to transport and dissipate heat, allowing it to not only be energy efficient, it also extends the product’s lifetime; since it is a fanless system, you don’t have to worry about dust build up.
“We are extremely excited to be bringing our innovative LiquidLoop fanless cooling system to our all-in-one PCs. The cooling system has enabled us to create the Aspire U27’s award-winning ultraslim design, allowing it to shine as a modern piece of hone décor, yet quiet enough to not distract.” – Jeff Lee, general manager, Stationary Computing, IT Products Business, Acer Inc.
The Acer Aspire U27 will be available in North America in July starting from US$1,099 – that’s about RM4,785.
