Razer has announced its latest product in the form of two brand new iterations of its Hammerhead earphones. These are the Hammerhead V2 BT and Hammerhead for iOS. Both of which come with a feature that says a lot about what’s in store for us in the future: no more headphone jacks.
That’s right folks, Razer too has joined in the recent “get rid of the headphone jack” bandwagon that was arguably propelled by Apple last year. Instead of equipping its newest earphones with the ‘standard’ headphone jack, Razer has gone with a more future-proof alternative: lighting connector and Bluetooth.
The Razer Hammerhead V2 BT, as its name implies, connects to your device via Bluetooth. Meanwhile, the Hammerhead for iOS, obviously, comes with a lighting connector – and it works with Siri too. According to Razer, the Hammerhead V2 BT will be able to last up to eight hours on a single charge.
When it comes to design, both of Razer’s newest earphones looks pretty similar to one another. They both come with the company’s signature black and green colour scheme. Unfortunately, local pricing for both of Razer’s newest has not been revealed by Razer, for now. The same can also be said about their date of availability in Malaysia.
