If you’re looking to get a new smartphone without breaking the bank, good news: Samsung Malaysia is offering RM200 rebate on the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime. While these phones are not high-end devices, they’re certainly affordable.

To take advantage of this rebate, you will have to trade in a smartphone “of any brand or model,” and it doesn’t have to be in perfect condition. In fact, Samsung will accept any smartphone “regardless of its physical condition,” so long as it’s still functional.

With this rebate, the Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime can be purchased for RM999 and RM699 respectively, and both devices have pretty respectable specifications for their asking prices. The J7 Prime, for one, features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (expandable, of course), 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, a 3,300mAh battery, as well as a metal body.

The Galaxy J5 Prime, on the other hand, has a 5-inch 720p display, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie shooter, and a 2,400mAh battery. Much like the J7 Prime, the J5 Prime also comes with a fingerprint sensor and metal construction.

If you’re keen to get the the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime or Galaxy J5 Prime with this RM200 rebate, you’ll have to visit any participating outlets or Samsung Experience Stores. This promotion will begin tomorrow on 14 April, and it will end on 21 May next month.
