Custom GTX 1080 Ti From Asus And MSI Revealed

It looks like Nvidia’s AIC partners are already beginning to showcase their custom GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards – barely two days after the official launch. Both Asus and MSI have unveiled teasers for their upcoming custom graphics cards. For those who aren’t aware, the GTX 1080 Ti is Nvidia’s latest graphics card, which is the company’s most powerful GeForce GTX card.

First up is Asus, who apparently showcased two custom GTX 1080 Ti. To be more specific, the company is planning to release the Strix and Turbo variants of the GTX 1080 Ti. Normally, Asus’ Strix graphics cards are those that are more premium while Turbo models are the more ‘affordable’ option.

MSI, on the other hand, has showcased only one graphics card in its teaser: the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X. Not much was said about the specifications of this graphics card (it’s a teaser after all). However, according to folks at TechPowerUp, the graphics card is fitted with the company’s TwinFrozr VI cooling solution.

Those aside, do expect all three aforementioned graphics cards to come with slightly higher clock speeds than Nvidia’s reference GTX 1080 Ti. Knowing how Nvidia’s GTX 1080 Ti is priced at US$699 (about RM3,109) it seems very likely that these graphics cards will come with a hefty price tag as well.
