The Chinese Lunar New Year is almost here, and Google is celebrating the occasion with everyone. A new microsite will reveal mini-games and information behind things that happen during the celebration over the next few days; starting with an animation involving spring cleaning.
Google refuses to say exactly what each of its six events will be about, but they are named with occasions like the reunion dinner, dragon dance, and lantern. Those want to find out more can check back on 27, 28, 29, and 30 January; with the last event being released on 1 February.
Chinese New Year is a becoming more of a big deal these days, especially as China itself becomes increasingly important on a world stage. Of course, this small gesture from Google looks like something fun to share with family while celebrating the actual event.
