The new prices for the Apple Watch Sport have already appeared on the Apple online store for Malaysians. The difference doesn’t quite add up to a $100 price drop and instead looks like a blanket RM300 reduction for the 38mm bands and RM350 for the 42mm bands. This brings the current price of the Apple Watch Sport down to RM1299 and RM1499 respectively.
In addition to this, the new nylon weave bands can also be purchased individually from the store for the same RM249 price as existing bands. There are seven colours to choose from: gold/red, gold/royal blue, royal blue, pink, pearl, scuba blue, and black.
It should be noted that there is also a rose gold cased Apple Watch that has appeared on the Apple Store at this time as well. It isn’t on sale yet, but also looks to be the only model to ship with the royal blue nylon weave band. Of course, Apple customers are always welcome to buy additional bands to customise the look themselves.
Prices of the Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition remain the same; although they are compatible with the new nylon bands.
