Gigabyte – the company behind the Xtreme Gaming graphics cards lineup – has announced a new product. This time, Gigabyte is introducing a gaming mouse called the XM300, which will be included in its Xtreme Gaming series. This gaming mouse is the first peripheral included in the lineup.
Essentially, the XM300 is an optical gaming mouse that is powered by an “advanced optical engine”. Gigabyte claims it to be a “perfect gaming weapon with pinpoint precision”. In addition to that, the gaming mouse has sensitivity of up to 6400dpi with 50dpi increments. The XM300 left and right buttons are equipped with Omron micro switches to provide better response time as well as added durability for over 20 million clicks.
Design-wise, Gigabyte mentioned that the XM300’s shape is suitable for different types of grips. Aside from that, Gigabyte has also included high quality cables for the XM300 along with a gold-plated USB connector. Going with the RGB lighting trend, the XM300 has RGB lighting that illuminates the Gigabyte logo, which compliments the matte black finish of the XM300.
It’s worth mentioning that the gaming mouse is meant for right-handed consumers. Gigabyte has also included two extra pairs of Teflon mouse feet for easy replacement. Being an Xtreme Gaming product, the performance and quality of the gaming mouse should reflect those of the Xtreme Gaming graphics cards as well.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not mention the price and availability of the XM300 gaming mouse. More information regarding the XM300 can be found here.
