Samsung Galaxy View Tablet in Samsung Malaysia Booklet January 2016

UPDATE (526PM): Samsung Malaysia has confirmed to us the tablet will indeed be released in Malaysia next week. Read more for further information.

Built to deliver a new mobile entertainment experience, Samsung Galaxy View was first teased at IFA 2015 before it was officially unveiled on October 2015 and appeared on SIRIM’s database last week.  Now, the gigantic tablet is set for release in Malaysia as we have spotted it inside Samsung Malaysia’s booklet for January 2016 at Samsung Experience Store in The Gardens Mall and Oh Yes Store in Mid Valley Megamall.

Not only that, the booklet has also revealed the price for the tablet which apparently has been set at RM 2,699. While it is not yet on display at either of the stores, the tablet is expected to be available for sale next week according to the staff at Oh Yes Store.

At the same time, Galaxy View has also appeared on Samsung Malaysia’s official website despite the company has not yet make any official announcement regarding its release in our shores. As if the signs are not obvious enough, consumers that are actually able to check out the Galaxy View tablet themselves at selected Samsung Experience Stores in Klang Valley, Kedah, and Johor this weekend.

All in all, the only info that we don’t have right now is the official release date from Samsung Malaysia. From the way we looked at it though, consumers should be able to get their hands on the 18.4-inch full HD tablet really soon anyway.

UPDATE (526PM): Samsung Malaysia has confirmed to us that the tablet will indeed be released in Malaysia next week. However, the stocks will be quite limited.
