It even work when i switch off my phone wifi that connected to streamyx as long as i don’t logout from iflix login with streamyx

  • now look, giving something free that not everyone uses it.

    • kzm

      i use iflix

  • Asijupon

ok laa at least this is way better than the shitty hypp.tv

    • kzm

I think hypptv is quite ok..

  • peterong

I think TM is the only ISP that forces its broadband subscribers to take the channel pkg, and knowing it’s channels content really not attractive, addon other online movie pkg! For those still think the hyppTV is free, please look at your monthly itemised bill.
… this speak much abt GLC competency in doing business. It’s an open secret TM want to be another Astro, but the way they do it … sigh !

They really need to fix the android app, it is a pain to use. It is slow and buggy. I am watching it on android box, to pause a movie you have to tap the pause button, then to skip forward/backward you need to use OK button… this is really hard to use… Netflix app (and every other movie streaming apps I have used), requires only the OK button to pause/rewind/forward etc…

    • kzm

Why i don’t have that OK button my iflix app oni show start/pause button, time slider n subtitle.. there no OK button

      • forextor

The button I am talking about is on my remote. I can only pause if i press pause button on my remote (cannot use OK button). This makes it very hard to use the remote because you need to switch finger to another button to do another operation… it is kind of hard to describe… to make it worse, I got a few seconds to do that… because the App will automatically cancel my action if I dont do anything within that few seconds window. Netflix OTOH is using single button for all operations… so I no need to look at the remote in the dark to find the right button…

        • kzm

That because Netflix has app on tv that require them to support remote. So their app pretty much complete. I don’t think iFlix have tv+remote support yet. iFlix right now better use with phone, tablet, browser or tv via chromecast.

          • forextor

Meh… I watch all kinds of anime on android box, there are various apps I am using to watch the animes… (4-5 apps at least) none of them have this ‘two buttons’ problem. All of them use single button (the OK button) to do everything… so the problem is on the iflix app.

          • kzm

i don’t have that problem on my phone

  • Janson

Why you are giving this free again?? No one is using too =.= My Kodi android app with Exodus and azdrama.net add ons more than cover my needs dy. And it is free =P

    • kzm

      not everybody support piracy bruh..

      • Janson

Sorry if that concerns you. If there is a company which have 80% of catalogue of movies and dramas offered by Kodi’s Exodus, I would likely subscribe to it. Kodi is second best to a well designed app for watching movies and dramas….

I am excited when iflix came out though it is gonna be Malaysia’s Netflix but BANG certain dramas are just not there because of some stupid licensing deals by Astro. GoT and House of Cards to be specific ??

        • kzm

Even no licensing deal GoT n HoC will not be available on iFlix. U know that those 2 tv series is Netflix Original Series rite? I doubt Netflix will give right to iFlix anyway.

          • Janson

Yup this is the problem with iflix or other video platforms like this. Look, Westworld and Game of Thrones are on HBO. House of Cards and Black Mirror are on Netflix. Movies I dunno where should I source from. U expect me to subscribe myself to each video platforms meh, hell no man.

At the end of the day content is KING. It is the same reasoning why Android and iOS are so popular, it is the power application not the operating system. However the licensing of lots of contents would not be cheap as well. So unless someone figures that out, i will have to stick to Exodus.

          • kzm

Does not mean u need to pirate everything. It is like i better steal that car if i cannot buy that car. Since iFlix is free for another year why not subscribe to Netflix. u oni need to pay for one subscription. If u think bout year after next year take maxis home u got free iFlix subscription as long ur maxis account active.

          • Janson

W8, no man i do not want iflix. There is nothing for me to watch there. The price of Netflix is quite steep at RM42 ahem for HD. And i just cancelled my Astro subscription to save cost. Times are hard boy… Finger crossed hopefully TM will double my internet speed for what I am paying now…

          • kzm

there a lot of good tv-series in iFlix.. check it out. It is not like u pay it anyways since it is free. Hard times does not mean u need to pirate everything oso. I just got retrench last month. It is not like i don’t know hard times is.

          • Janson

Oh that is very unfortunate, 2016 is indeed a bad year. Stay positive alright, hopefully things will become better in the coming new year 2017.

As for iflix, in last year’s free viewing period by TM I already give it a shot. Even telling my friends and relatives about this free subscription. However, no one seems to be interested in using it and well I dun use it as well.

To be frank I am noe nothing about Exodus before this. I so happen to get one of those android boxes which is floating around in order to cut the cord on Astro and Kodi is installed in it. That is the first time I discovered Exodus. It really change my TV viewing behaviour and I came to more appreciate the versatility of Android.

Your points of not pirating everything are of course valid and I respect your choice. But I am merely enjoying the alternative I get for myself for Astro. Hope for the best for the both of us in the coming new year ??

          • stretch

Bro.. just keep quite. Don’t watch if you are broke, but if you have a means don’t brag about it.Kodi, myiptv, torrent and the likes are wrong. Those tv series and the likes won’t be there if everyone is using kodi… enjoy your kodi.

          • Andrew Tan

you talk so many, only one point – you are pirated and nothing to feel proud of it but instead it is a big shame. Not everyone pirated, supporting pirated is same crime as stealing. Story end.

          • Janson

Sorry if this annoyed you but I really didn’t meant to pirate. Did you read my comments below? I am gonna use it again.

I mean I seriously noe nothing about Exodus before this. I so happen to get one of those android boxes which is floating around in order to cut the cord on Astro and Kodi is installed in it. That is the first time I discovered Exodus.

Maybe u can afford Astro but I am merely enjoying the alternative I get for myself for Astro. Your points of not pirating everything are of course valid and I respect your choice.

Do come back to me if u happen to find any video platforms which have 80% of catalogue of movies and dramas offered by Kodi’s Exodus. I would happy to look into it. You see Netflix’s RM42 would more justified if HBO would license some of its popular shows there. I dun watch many American drama, only the popular ones. But that would be unlikely because those complicated licensing deal and exclusivity just like why iMessage is only on iPhone.

iflix really have a great potential but if only they could license more popular shows in America and keep their offerings more up to date. Now their offerings are very general and attempts to become a jack of all trades. That’s why they cannot keep their content up to date. My recommendation to them is focus one segment 1st example the English drama and shows segment which they pull popular content from Amazon Origninals, Netflix or HBO.

Once they found success on it then they can come out with different packages to cater to different market segment. You see the market for Korean drama and shows are a bit crowded now. So the next step perhaps they should do something like what Line TV did in Taiwan which offers some quality drama and shows from Taiwan. Line TV is apparently free to use in Taiwan so they do not have most of the Taiwan drama. In short, hopefully iflix will find ways to improve its offerings in the coming year. Giving people free subscription for one year is sure a good thing but only if they can capitalise on it and take measures to make sure people will remain on its platform after the free subscription ends.

          • Kajan Johnson

with lowlife scum like u supporting piracy how else they can get funds from revenue to license new shows?? if u want to watch it, pay for it, netflix or iflix.. being a cheapskate thief , u have no right to complain…

    • David

There are many out there that use iflix. Unlike you, others are grateful that there is a simple, legal and fuss free service like iflix which comes free. No matter how you try to justify it, piracy is wrong. If there is a legal alternative, we should support it. Also keep in mind that iflix plays an important role in keeping content locally, meaning all bandwidth from iflix is within Malaysia hence we don’t have to rely on international bandwidth which saves costs of our traffic

  • Ridz.One

Anyone install iflix apps on hypptv white box
    and get error login?

  • Kajan Johnson

they cant even get their damn app working on tmnet hypptv android box … and no HD in THIS age???

    • Janson

Apparently iflix do not have a separate app for android box like Netflix. Get a wireless mouse and it should do the trick. Perhaps no HD is why they are able to maintain their price at RM8?? Take a look at Netflix Malaysia pricing (rm33 for no HD; rm42 for HD) =.=
