Shopee has finally turned one year old. To celebrate the company’s first anniversary, Shopee has prepared several deals leading throughout the month leading up to the 12th of December. There will be discounts up to 90%, RM1 deals, as well as prizes to win such as flights, hotel stays, smartphones, and cash vouchers.
The online retailer, will also be organising the “Shopee Spree Carnival”, which is a shopping bazaar featuring over 30 Shopee sellers of various categories. The bazaar will be held at Avenue K from the 3rd to 4th of December 2016.
Shopee has also shared some key highlights from its mobile commerce consumer behaviour report. It noted that users are more active on the app rather than on the desktop, with 50% of them spending more than 20 minutes a day on mobile. These customers also had higher purchase rates on mobile than on PC.
