In a rather surprise twist, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced that the new PlayStation 4 Pro has officially landed in Malaysia. The announcement was made through the official Facebook page for Southeast Asia right at the stroke of midnight earlier today.
As you might have known from our previous reports, the PS4 Pro provides the ability for gamers to play games with enhanced graphics at up to 4K resolution. Of course, such experience can only be obtained through titles that are optimized for the console on HDR-supported 4K TVs.
According to Sony, there are more than 30 PS4 Pro-optimized titles available at launch today with more of them to be made available soon. That being said, PS4 Pro is still compatible with any given PS4 games. Officially priced at RM 1,799, the PS4 Pro also comes with 1TB hard drive.
In its announcement, SIE didn’t point out any specific stores which you can get your hands on the console. This means it might be possible that you have to get in touch with several retailers before you are able to end up with a unit or you can order it directly from Sony Malaysia’s online store. So, happy hunting.
