Niantic is about to make logging in to Pokemon Go every day worth your time. The developer announced that the next update will introduce daily bonuses for spinning PokeStops and catching Pokemon; with benefits increasing if the bonus is claimed seven days in a row.
The first Pokemon caught each day provides an additional 500 XP and 600 Stardust, while the PokeStop bonus begins at 500 XP and an unspecified number of additional item drops. Collecting the daily bonus for seven days in a row results in a bonus of 2,000 XP and 2,400 Stardust; or 2,000 XP and an even larger unspecified number of additional item drops.
Eligibility for the daily bonus resets at midnight each day, which beats having to wait 24 hours between getting rewards.
