Among Acer laptops that have been refreshed with the new chips are the Aspire E 14 and E 15 series. In general, these new models share the same Core i5-7200U processor while they are also equipped with 4GB DDR4 RAM, 41.4 Whr 4-cell battery, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 ac wireless LAN with MU-MIMO support, and a Super Multi Plus drive.
However, the E 14 laptops carries a 14-inch 1366 x 768 display as opposed to its larger E 15 siblings which have a larger 15.6-inch screen with better resolution at full HD (1920 x 1080). Both laptop series also features 1TB SATA hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM although for E5-475G-50N0, it comes with additional 128GB solid state drive and more GDDR5 VRAM at 4GB.
At the same time, Aspire F 15 laptops are also now available with 7th generation Intel Core processor. Equipped with 15.6-inch full HD display, 4GB DDR4 RAM, 128GB solid state drive, and 1TB hard drive, consumers are able to obtain these laptops with either Core i5-7200U or Core i7-7500U.
Additionally, the Core i5 models are equipped with NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 4GB GPU while the Core i7 models feature NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M 4GB GPU. They also feature 41.4 Whr 4-cell and 62.2 Whr 6-cell battery respectively.
In terms of pricing, the Aspire E 14 laptops are available at RM 2,199 with the exception of E5-475G-50N0 which goes for RM 2,499. Meanwhile, Aspire E 15 laptops are priced at RM 2,399 while the Core i5 and Core i7 version of Aspire F 15 are listed at RM 2,699 and RM 3,499 respectively.
