The Huawei P9 and P9 Lite officially went on sale just last weekend, and now, the highest-end variant of the series’ – the P9 Plus – retail price and availability have finally been revealed. Those who have been waiting for the biggest and most feature-packed device in the P9 series will be happy to know that it will be available for purchase in Malaysia on 10 June next week.
Just like the Huawei P9, the P9 Plus features the same “leica-certified” dual rear camera; based on our hands on with the former device, we’re quite impressed with the dual 12MP camera. Other than that, it is also the only device in the series with a 5.5-inch AMOLED panel. To top it off, the P9 Plus features a pressure-sensitive display – which Huawei dubs Press Touch – as well.
Rounding out the specifications of the P9 Plus are a HiSilicon Kirin 955 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, an 8MP front-facing shooter, as well as a generous 3,400mAh battery. It’s also worth noting that owners of the P9 Plus – and the P9 – also benefit from a range of VIP services, such as one-to-one exchange within the respective device’s 12-month warranty, free door-to-door pickup and delivery service, and even a three-month display warranty.
The Huawei P9 Plus will be available for purchase on Vmall.my and Lazada – as well as authorised Huawei retailers – on the 10th of June next Friday. Retailing at RM2,599, those looking for a high-end device have another option now.
