Razer has been coming up with lots of audio-related products recently, and interestingly, quite a number of them aren’t targeted solely at gamers only. Razer’s new Leviathan Mini Bluetooth speaker is a very good example of a product by Razer that is aimed at normal consumers. This Bluetooth speaker is inspired from the much larger Razer Leviathan that was released about a year ago.

Razer is offering its customers portability when it comes to the Leviathan Mini. Surprisingly, Razer mentioned that the sound bar only weighs about 538 grams, which is obviously lighter than the Razer Leviathan, which weighs around 2kg with an included subwoofer that weighs an additional 2.35kg. Apart from the weight, the Levitathan Mini is also much smaller than the original Razer Leviathan sound bar.

Razer mentioned that the Leviathan Mini has up to 10 hours of battery life for non-stop audio playback, and charging time for the Leviathan Mini would take up to four hours. Besides that, this Bluetooth speaker also supports Combo Play, which pairs two Razer Leviathan Mini. Razer hasn’t forget to include a much needed carrying case for this speaker.

The Razer Leviathan Mini is now available for pre-order in Malaysia and the estimated worldwide release would be on January 2016. However, there is something rather odd that needs mentioning. The original, full-sized Razer Leviathan debuted with a price of RM689, but it is now retailing on Razer’s official website at RM919. In contrast, the Razer Leviathan Mini is priced at RM 909, which is RM10 cheaper than the full-sized Leviathan.

Although the price difference is not significant, the Leviathan Mini is targeted at different consumers that prioritise portability. Regardless, more information on the Razer Leviathan Mini can be found on Razer’s official website.
