The Razer Huntsman line of keyboards is one that has been steadily growing over the past couple of months. Following the release of a Low-Profile version of the Huntsman V3 Pro in August, the brand has announced the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz. While its name isn’t as big a mouthful as the last model, it still does a good job of explaining what the device is.
Essentially, it’s a version of the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini designed for competitive gaming. If the “8KHz” doesn’t already tip you off, this update introduces true 8,000Hz HyperPolling, allowing for a 0.48ms latency. For the average user, an 8,000Hz polling rate is probably a superfluous addition, but the most dedicated gamers may appreciate it.

Beyond that, we’re looking at a pretty familiar keyboard. It features a compact 60% form factor with a 5052 aluminium alloy top case and textured PBT keycaps. Like its siblings, the keyboard comes equipped with the company’s Gen-2 Analog Optical Switches, offering a 0.1-0.4mm adjustable actuation range and a claimed lifespan of 100 million keystrokes. According to Razer, each switch is individually lubricated and seated in a dense foam layer for an optimised keystroke feel and a smooth, muted typing acoustic. The keyboard also features dual-purpose modifier keys, which can serve as four-way arrow keys.
Other than that, the device comes with the full suite of Advanced Input Controls, including Rapid Trigger, Snap Flex, Snap Tap, Dynamic Keystroke, and Dual-Keypress Priority. The brand also promises quick onboard adjustments for actuation height and Rapid Trigger sensitivity, with storage for up to six profiles without requiring any software downloads. Speaking of which, the keyboard supports Synapse Web.
The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz is now available in Malaysia at a suggested retail price of RM789. Those interested in getting the keyboard can head over to the brand’s official website for further details.
