ESL Brings RM1 Million Dota 2 Tournament To Manila, Philippines

ESL, one of the world’s largest e-sports company has set its sights on Manila to host South East Asia’s largest e-sports tournament in the Philippines. This USD250,000 (roughly RM1 million) Dota 2 tournament marks ESL’s debut appearance in the South East Asian Dota 2 scene.

ESL One Manila by PLDT Fiber and Smart GameX will be happening on the 23rd and 24th of April 2016 in the Mall of Asia Arena. Teams will be battling it out for a share of the total USD250,000 (about RM1 million) prize pool. To help advance the region’s Dota 2 scene, local Dota 2 teams will be invited to compete with top tier Dota 2 teams from around the world. It’s no Internationals, but it’s the closest thing South East Asia will ever get.

Tickets are now available for sale at SMTICKETS and SMTICKETS outlets in the Philippines. All tickets purchased will grant its holder two days access to the event. The Weekend General Admission will sell for 500 Peso (about RM45) and the seats are in the upper ring of the arena. The Weekend Ticket Upper and Lower Rank will be sold at 1,000 Peso (approximately RM90 ) and 1,500 Peso (roughly RM135) respectively.

The grandest ticket of them all will be the 5,000 Peso (about RM450)Premium Ticket. It offers premium seating which is closest to the stage, free food and drinks, goodie bags, as well as exclusive signing sessions.
