Acer has just launched three new affordable smartphones in Malaysia: the Liquid Z330, Z530, and Z630. While these are by no means flagship devices, they are perfect for consumers who are looking to get their first smartphone. Other than that, the Liquid X2 is also set to arrive in Malaysia soon.
In terms of specification, the Z630 is the beefiest of the Z series. It has a 5.5-inch 720p display, a MediaTek MT6735 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 8MP rear and front-facing cameras, LTE connectivity, as well as a very generous 4,000mAh battery.
The Z530, on the other hand, shares the same processor as the Z630, a MediaTek MT6735. It also has the same RAM and memory capacity at 2GB and 16GB (expandable with a microSD card) respectively, not to mention 8MP rear and front-facing shooters along with LTE connectivity as well. However, the Z530 has a smaller 5-inch 720p display and a 2,420mAh battery.
Finally, we have the Z330, the most affordable of the bunch. It has a rather compact 4.5-inch 854 x 480 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 1.1GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 8MP of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 5MP rear and front-facing snappers, LTE connectivity, and a 2,000mAh battery.
Other than these three devices, Acer Malaysia also teased the arrival of the Liquid X2 in Malaysia. It has a 5.5-inch 720p display, an unspecified 64-bit octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in memory, 13MP rear and front-facing cameras, a sizeable 4,000mAh battery, LTE connectivity, and most importantly, three SIM card slots. While the X2 is a pretty interesting device, Acer did not reveal exactly when it will be available here.
The Acer Liquid Z330, Z530 and Z630 are now available for purchase in Malaysia. In terms of pricing, they are priced at RM439, RM559 and RM659 respectively.
