Burberry is now the first brand to get its very own channel on Apple Music. Fans can now follow the high-end fashion brand on Apple’s music streaming service, and enjoy exclusive content like live performances from British artists to be filmed at the Burberry Womenswear show in London on 21 September 2015.
This is not the first time Apple is working with Burberry. Two years ago when Apple launched the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, Burberry was the first to get their hands on the devices. The company used the iPhone 5s to capture pictures and videos of its runway show in London back in 2013, which was held before the consumer launch of both devices. This is however, the first collaboration between the two companies since Apple hired Angela Ahrendts, the former CEO of Burberry, as the Senior Vice President of Retail and Online Stores. Of course, it is unclear whether Ahrendts has anything to do with the new Apple Music channel for Burberry.
For those who signed up for Apple Music when it was first launched back in July 2015, the trial is almost up so you might want to manage your subscription if you do not wish to continue. Apple charges Malaysian users in USD, which means that monthly subscription for single user is now RM17.20 (US$3.99 a month).
