Apple has just made shopping on its online store a whole lot easier and more convenient for us Malaysian users. The official Apple Store app is now available for download on the App Store.
Apple Store version 3.3 that was released just last week brings support for a list of new countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, and more. You can easily select something to purchase be it a Mac, an iPhone/iPad/iPod, or even various accessories from Apple. Sadly though, the Apple Watch isn’t available in Malaysia yet, but when Apple decides to launch it here, you should be able to purchase directly via Apple Store app.
Like most shopping apps, you can shop and track your purchase from the app. It will use the information in your Apple account such as credit card and shipping address but should there be any changes, you can edit them in the app too. Unfortunately, if you would like to cancel or edit your orders, you will need to visit Apple’s website.
The update also brings Touch ID integration so you can check your cart out using only your fingerprint. To help make things more secure, there’s also a two-step verification that requires you to key in a verification code.
For those who are interested, you can download the Apple Store app on the App Store now.
