ASUS MG279Q Gaming Monitor Now Up For Pre-order In Malaysia; Priced At RM 2,699

Asus MG279Q Pre-order

Asus has announced the pre-order for its MG279Q gaming monitor. The 27-inch display is not yet available in Malaysia, and interested gamers will be able to pick theirs up for RM2,699; a price that includes free copies of Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry.

Announced at CES 2015, the Asus MG279Q gaming monitor features a WQHD display with a resolution of 2540 x 1440. The main features are the 144Hz refresh rate, which allows gamers to experience all those extra frames their gaming rigs are putting out, and support for AMD’s FreeSync technology.

The pre-order is currently available on the Asus Republic of Gamers Malaysia Facebook page, despite the fact that this fact that this particular gaming monitor being part of its mainstream gaming line, which does not fall under the ROG brand. Interested gamers can visit the post for more information. The pre-order for the Asus MG279Q gaming monitor lasts until 1 June 2015, and there is no information about when the displays will be shipping.
