Xiaomi Malaysia Mi 4 RM1199

Just when we thought that Xiaomi would not be offering the Xiaomi Mi 4 in Malaysia, the Chinese company suddenly made an announcement about the device’s arrival. The Mi 4 is now available in Malaysia through a local distributor for a retail price of RM1,199.

Mont Asia is offering the 16GB option of the Xiaomi Mi 4 with 3G connectivity. It is available through roadshows and Mont Asia’s various distribution channels. While it is not sold through Xiaomi Malaysia’s website, Xiaomi Malaysia is still offering a 1 year limited warranty.

According to Mont Asia’s Facebook page, they are an authorised distributor for Xiaomi Malaysia. They are currently offering the Xiaomi Mi 4 in the country and are having a roadshow, which will run from 1 to 3 May 2015.

The roadshows are mainly located across various places in Penang, Alor Setar and Sungei Petani. If you wish to check out the Xiaomi Mi 4 for yourself, visit their Facebook page to look for their roadshow locations.

Will you buy the Xiaomi Mi 4 for that price, especially when you know that the cheaper variant, the Mi 4i, will be launched in Malaysia sometime this month?
