HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi

In case you missed our earlier report, TM will be announcing HyppTV Everywhere service that is formulated exclusively for DiGi customers on 13 April. However, it turns out that DiGi customers already able to utilize them immediately according to what we have experienced just moments ago.

Not only that, the FAQ on HyppTV Everywhere’s official website has been updated with information regarding HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi customers. Read more below to discover what we’ve learned regarding the service.

HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi

From what we were able to tell from HyppTV Everywhere’s latest FAQ, the biggest difference between them is that there will be several packages made exclusively under HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi. Such packages include:

DiGi Entertainment Package: Comedy Central, iConcert, and FashionTV for RM10.60/month.

DiGi Kids Package: Nick Jr, Discovery Kids and HyppDino for RM10/month.

DiGi Pakej Sensasi: HyppSensasi, EC Inspirasi and MNC International for RM10.60/month.

DiGi Dragon Package: TVB8, Now International and SETI for RM10.60/month.

DiGi Sports Package: HyppSports 1, HyppSports 2, HyppSports 3, HyppSports 4 for RM15.90/month.

That being said, we didn’t manage to discover the method to subscribe to these packages through the HyppTV Everywhere app that we installed on our Android smartphone. It might be possible that the option is not being shown since new users automatically receive 7 days’ worth of free trial that opens up all the premium channels on HyppTV Everywhere but nevertheless, we will seek clarification on this matter during HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi’s launch next Monday.

Apart from the packages mentioned above, other offerings and their monthly charges under HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi are identical to HyppTV Everywhere for non-UniFi/Streamyx customers:

HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi

In terms of payment, DiGi postpaid customers are able to charge their content purchases into their bills while DiGi prepaid customers are able to have the charges to be deducted from their prepaid balances. The FAQ also states that customers are able to pay via credit card but the option somehow didn’t appear in our app during our test run.

Similar to HyppTV Everywhere for non-UniFi/Streamyx customers, DiGi customers are able to access HyppTV Everywhere through up to two devices. Not to forget, user’s mobile phone number is also the login ID on HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi customers.

HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi

Well, that is pretty much what we have to say regarding HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi as far as our experience goes. All in all, it is still the same HyppTV Everywhere that are available to virtually everyone in the country but with the addition of packages and payment options specially for DiGi customers.

Meanwhile, do let us know if you have any questions regarding HyppTV Everywhere for DiGi via the comments section below in order to allow us to relay them to TM and DiGi at the service’s launch event next Monday.
