Samsung Malaysia has announced that it will be offering a personalised pick-up service for the new Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. Basically, if there’s no Samsung service centre near you, you can arrange for your S6 or S6 edge to be picked up by Samsung.
In order to arrange for one, you can call the dedicated careline at 1800 88 7799. We were told that the careline is available 24 hours, which is pretty impressive.
Other than that, there is also a 7-point check available for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge – much like how cars are sent for an inspection every now and then. Among the things that will be checked are the battery health of your device along with any available software update.
These services will be offered for free to all customers who have bought the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, and we have been told that this will only be available for these two flagship devices. However, after the warranty period has ended, customers will be charged for any hardware replacement, which is expected.
