Chinese New Year is less than a month away and Maxis wants you to celebrate the holiday with a new smartphone and a new “golden number”. The telco is offering savings of up to RM1000 on selected Samsung smartphones when you sign up for a contract with them.
From now until 30 March 2015, visit any Maxis Centres or Maxis Exclusive Partners (MEPs) and sign up for a 24 months contract under MaxisONE plan with any data add-on plans, and you can get the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (gold) at RM1,488, Galaxy S5 (gold) for RM788, Galaxy Mega 2 for RM188 or Galaxy Ace Style for free.
The promotion is only available for new MaxisONE plan subscribers, which means that you’ll be able to pick a special “golden number” like “2828”, “1688” or “1263”. Do note that you must purchase an add-on data in order to enjoy this offer.
Thankfully, it’s concurrent with the on-going 2GB of data for RM30 (instead of the usual 1GB) promotion though, it’s only available for the first 6 months (this promotion ends on 28 February 2015). Finally, as mentioned before, a 24 months contract applies if you wish to sign up for it.
