Now that the LG G3 is already getting the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update, what about previous generation flagship smartphones from the Korean company? According to new videos, it looks like the update is on the way to the LG G2 as well.

TuttoAndroid seems to have gotten their hands on the Android Lollipop for the LG G2, and recently shared two videos showing the OS in action. The firmware version is for the Korean version of the device, but since it’s already available, it’s safe to say that LG should be bringing it to the international variant as well.

LG G3 owners who are already using Lollipop on their device should find this interface familiar. However, since this is a newer version based on Android 5.0.1, it looks slightly different and definitely more polished.

It’s definitely great to see phone manufacturers release the latest update to its older phones, breathing new life into them. Unfortunately, no timeframe has been given for the update, so keep your fingers crossed that it’ll be soon. Any LG G2 owners here looking forward to the update?
