Steam is holding a Warner Bros Games weekend; but more importantly, it is also the first weekend sale for the platform in RM. If there will ever be a good time to catch up on some Batman games, this would be it. Almost all the titles from WB Games are going for 75% off; the only exceptions being the unreleased Shadows Over Morder and Gauntlet.
The Arkham series of games are going for less than RM10 each at the moment. As is the Lego game franchise, as well as the quirky puzzle series Scribblenauts. This means that it is currently cheaper to buy games than go to lunch in places like KL. It is also an indication of the kinds of prices that Malaysians can look forward to for the larger Steam sale that is likely to happen towards the end of this year.
Finally, Final Fantasy XIII for the PC is also now on pre-order on Steam. The game is set to launch 9 October, and is currently sold with a 10% discount. Rumours have been floating around that the entire FFXIII series would be making its way to PC after the Steam logo appeared on the game’s official website. It would appear that those rumours are finally becoming substantial, although it is still unknown when FFXIII-2 and Lightning Returns will also be making their way to the PC.
