Apple has released a new ad for the iPhone, highlighting the various third-party apps and equipment that can pair with the iPhone to make it a powerful tool for work. Titled “Dreams” and a tagline that reads “you’re more powerful than you think”, the minute-long ad highlights how people could perform tasks that previously required plenty of individual apparatus, can now be done with only an iPhone 5S.
The tagline was yet another take on Apple’s long ad campaign for the iPhone, which includes previous ads such as “Powerful” followed by “Strength”, and more recently “Parenthood”. This is the fourth video that was released to highlight the virtues of owning an iPhone.
In this ad, Apple shows viewers the possible things that can be done with the iPhone 5S with the help of tools that connect to the smartphone, whether it is the a Vaavud Wind Meter to capture wind data which syncs to a MacBook Air, or even a simple clip-on lens to serve as a magnifying glass. On top of that, apps that are only available on the App Store can help measure heartbeats, and even pH values, offering iPhone users a more simple and affordable option to integrate multiple devices into just one – their iPhone.
The Apple ad is also a message to iPhone users to make use of of all the applications available to them in the App Store, allowing them to be more productive no matter what field they are in. After all, the whole theme of these ads since the very first one has been to show the iPhone as a powerful tool both for work and play.
