While the newly announced Xiaomi Mi 4 is busy getting everyone’s attention for today, let’s not forget that the fledgling Chinese manufacturer still have plenty of devices under its wing. One of them is the Redmi 1S which is the most affordable Xiaomi’s smartphone in Malaysia at the moment.
If you somehow missed your chance to get one on your hands from Xiaomi Malaysia’s website, then you might want to look out for an announcement from DiGi tomorrow.
According to a number of tipsters, the telco will apparently start taking order for the device around noon time tomorrow. Details are still scarce but we were also informed that Redmi 1S will be made available for free to customers that signed up for SmartPlan 108 at the time of the purchase.
Last but not least, our tipsters also pointed out that the delivery of the device will start from 5 August onwards. At this moment, DiGi has yet to publish any official information or even any pre-release teaser regarding Xiaomi Redmi 1S. So, guess we need to wait till tomorrow to see how true this rumour will be.

However, the telco has yet to reveal the details regarding pricing and delivery date for its Redmi 1S package. We’ll keep you updated once the info comes in.
