It looks like no mobile operating system updates will be completely free from bugs, the latest bug found in the recent iOS 7.1.2 update is a pretty weird one that shows the wrong holidays in the default Calendar app. Discovered by a user who lives in Lithuania, when he set the region of his device to Lithuania, the Calendar app will be displaying holidays for other parts of the world like Hong Kong, Canada and Mexico.
As seen in the video, the bug only appears for that particular region, tests for other regions such as United States and United Kingdom showed the proper holidays. Fortunately, a brief tests shows that Malaysia is safe from that bug as well, but Hong Kong and Canadian holidays seems to be popping up for a lot of other countries as well including Philippines, Vietnam and possibly more.
The user has contacted Apple about the problem and the Cupertino company acknowledges the bug, and promises that the issue will be resolved with the next update.
