Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Pro 8.4

If you’ve been patiently waiting for Samsung Malaysia to bring in the Galaxy TabPRO tablets that were announced earlier this year at CES 2014, you’re in luck. At the on-going local launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Malaysia has confirmed that the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 and TabPRO 12.2 will be coming to Malaysia.

Together with the Malaysian launch of the Galaxy S5, Samsung Malaysia also introduced their new wearable – the Gear 2 and Gear Fit – into our market and has listed out their compatibility with existing and upcoming Galaxy devices. Among the listed devices is an unannounced Galaxy Tab 4 series (Tab 4 10.1 and Tab 4 7.0), and the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 and TabPRO 12.2, the best part? All the listed devices will be coming to Malaysia. To date, Malaysia only has the NotePRO 12.2 priced at a retail price of RM2,999.

The TabPRO series compromises of three sizes – 12.2”, 10.1” and 8.4”. All the three TabPRO series features very similar hardware under their hood including a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor. The TabPro 12.2 has 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of expandable storage, while the latter two only has 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of expandable storage. Other features include 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Check out our announcement post to find out more about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy TabPRO series.
