Gold HTC One and Note 3 from Maxis

What better way to celebrate this Chinese New Year than with gadgets with auspicious colors? Last week, Celcom started offering the gold Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with its phone and now, it looks like the rest of the telcos have followed suit. You may now get the Rose Gold (black and white) Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from all the local major telcos – Celcom, Maxis, DiGi and U Mobile; the bundles are pretty much more or less the same, except for DiGi, who is offering the Galaxy Note 3 at a slightly cheaper price now.

  • Celcom – from RM1,538
  • Maxis – from RM1,199
  • DiGi – from RM1,199
  • U Mobile – from RM999

Check out our telco price comparison for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in our previous post.

If the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 isn’t your cup of tea, you may also get the gold HTC One from Maxis or DiGi. Maxis is currently having a promotion for you to get the HTC One for only RM799 when you sign up for one of the more affordable postpaid and data plan while DiGi on the other hand is offering the HTC one from as low as RM0 when you sign up for the most expensive contract – DG SmartPlan 148. Visit Maxis or DiGi now for more information about the bundle; as a Chinese New Year promotion, Maxis is also having a “Golden Offer” for you to get a “Golden Number”.

Although “gold” phones have been around for some time already, it is without a doubt that it is only becoming popular now. Will you jump on the bandwagon and get yourself a gold colored phone?
