Say “hello” to yet another telco in Malaysia, Altel Communications, an upcoming prepaid service in Malaysia that offers LTE connectivity. Riding off Celcom’s LTE 2600MHz spectrum, Altel boasts competitive domestic call rates, low broadband adoption fee, and premium customer service like no other, perhaps one very important thing we could all get used to.
“From the moment you join us, we promise to make you our number one priority and provide you the best service possible. You matter to us and that’s a promise worth keeping!” – boast Altel in its main page.
It’s not available immediately though, earlier this month, Celcom and Altel Communications signed an agreement for Celcom to provide mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) to Altel.
No date of availability has been mentioned yet, Altel Communications only posted that it will start off with two exclusive partners – in Sunway Pyramid and in Pertama Complex. The starter pack will cost RM7 and will consist of domestic call services, LTE data services, rewards and bonuses, with Broadband Internet connectivity from as low as RM15.
