While news is still a little sparse on news about this, it appears that Samsung have acquired Boxee to bolster up the lacklustre HomeSync series of technology. Boxee is one of the closest competitors to the Apple TV and technically has components of the family that can be run on just about any device. On the other hand, Samsung is making a huge push with internet connected TVs and this deal seems to be a marriage made in heaven. Would this be what we need to bring internet content into our living rooms as a permanent fixture?
