You know how Facebook has got multiple apps for your mobile devices such as a separate messenger app and a camera app? Well, why have so many when you can have all of them in one? Facebook recently announced an update that brings Messaging and multi image uploads into its main social networking app.
The new update, Facebook Version 5.1, is available immediately on the Apple App Store. Once updated, you can now swipe from right to left to bring up the chat menu that allows you to see who is online before selecting a user to chat with. You can also add friends you message the most to the top of the list, a feature that is available on its standalone messenger app. When you wish to share an image, you’ll be brought to your camera roll whereby you can select multiple images or videos to upload at one go; you can even edit it a little such as cropping the image or add a filter into it.
There have been reports that some users are having issues with the update. I’ve updated mine and everything seems to be working perfectly fine.
